The Serhiy Prytula Charity Foundation is going on a tour of North America to support Ukraine's largest defence fundraiser in history

22/01/2026
The Serhiy Prytula Charity Foundation team, led by its founder, representatives of the 412th Brigade 'NEMESIS' and the Ukrainian World Congress, will hold a series of public meetings in the United States and Canada as part of 'One United Fundraiser' – the largest defence campaign in Ukraine's history.
The aim is to join forces with the Ukrainian diaspora and international partners to counter daily attacks by Shahed drones, support defenders on the front lines, and shield civilians from large-scale Russian drone attacks.
To achieve this, one billion hryvnia (approximately $24 million) must be raised for interceptor drones and equipment for the crews who fend off the enemy daily in the skies over Ukraine. Since the initiative launched in November 2025, 250 million hryvnia has been raised – 25% of the target amount.
From late January to early February meetings will be held in Toronto (22 January), Winnipeg (26 January), Edmonton (28 January), Calgary (29 January), New York (30 January), New Jersey (31 January), Washington (2 February) and Chicago (5 February).
Among speakers:
- Serhiy Prytula, Founder of the Serhiy Prytula Charity Foundation.
- Oleksandr Yarmak, Senior Lieutenant of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Commander of an Unmanned Aerial Systems Battalion, 412th Nemesis Brigade.
- Volodymyr Horodnychyi, Major of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Senior Officer, Civil–Military Cooperation (CIMIC) Group, 412th Nemesis Brigade.
- Paul Grod, President of the Ukrainian World Congress.
- Andrew Potichnyj, Director of the Ukrainian World Congress “Unite with Ukraine” Initiative.
Participants will also have the opportunity to ask the speakers questions and see Ukrainian interceptor drones and a full-size replica of a downed Russian Shahed drone. They will also be able to try their hand at drone interception on a simulator, just as the Defence Forces do every day.
