“Taras+” vs. Shaheds: Serhiy Prytula Charity Foundation Delivers 110 Interceptor Drones Supported by Dárek pro Putina

More "gifts" the enemy definitely won’t like: The Serhiy Prytula Charity Foundation has delivered a batch of 110 "Taras+" interceptor drones to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This latest deployment was made possible by the Czech initiative Dárek pro Putina ("Gift for Putin"). As part of Ukraine's largest defense campaign, One United Fundraiser, the initiative contributed over 64 million UAH, exceeding its initial goal by 25%.

A portion of these funds — specifically 13,860,000 UAH — was used to procure 110 Shahed hunters. These units have already been distributed among proven, high-performing crews defending cities and villages across the Kharkiv, Zhytomyr, and Mykolaiv regions:

• 31st Separate Mechanized Brigade — 50 units;
• 164th Radio-Technical Slobidska Brigade — 20 units;
• 201st Anti-Aircraft Missile Brigade — 20 units;
• "Kraken" Special Unit of the Main Directorate of Intelligence (HUR) — 20 units.

To date, the Serhiy Prytula Charity Foundation has delivered interceptors and related equipment worth over 48 million UAH funded by the Dárek pro Putina donation within the One United Fundraiser framework.

Modern air defense relies on more than just high-end systems like Patriot or IRIS-T. Intercepting cheap kamikaze drones with million-dollar missiles leads straight to resource exhaustion. The "Taras+" interceptor drones neutralize enemy targets long before they reach populated areas, at a fraction of a Shahed's cost.

Traditional air defense assets alone cannot fully secure the skies. Interceptors give us the upper hand in this numbers game: we neutralize targets cheaply, effectively, and as close to the frontline as possible, saving scarce missiles for more complex threats,"

One United Fundraiser is a joint initiative of the 412th Brigade "Nemesis", the World Congress of Ukrainians, and the Serhiy Prytula Charity Foundation. The campaign aims to raise 1 billion UAH to reinforce Ukrainian units with anti-Shahed drones and train their crews.

As of May, the project has passed its halfway mark, securing 50% of the target. While the fundraiser continues, drones purchased through the campaign have already proven their lethality, bringing down over 570 enemy targets.
