The Prytula Foundation U.S.A. has started its work in the United States. The Foundation is a separate charitable organization established to assist Ukraine in the de-occupied and frontline areas to restore decent and safe living conditions.
The organization has a 501(c)(3) status. This means that Prytula Foundation U.S.A. does not pay tax on donations received, and donors who are U.S. citizens will be able to reduce their taxable income by the amount of their donation to Prytula Foundation U.S.A.
The decision to register a charitable foundation in the United States is related to the need to expand our work and attract support for Ukraine from around the world. It should be noted that in 2024, $2,500,000 was transferred to the accounts of the Serhiy Prytula Charitable Foundation in Ukraine from foreign donors for humanitarian projects to support Ukrainian communities (as of early August 2024).
«The establishment of Prytula Foundation U.S.A. is an opportunity to receive more donors from North America. The United States of America is currently in third place in terms of accumulating donations to our foundation each month. We needed to address the issue of deepening cooperation with American donors in a way that is convenient and comfortable for them», said Serhiy Prytula, founder of the foundation.
The Prytula Foundation U.S.A. supports initiatives aimed at alleviating the hardships faced by Ukrainian civilians. The foundation ensures that all funds raised are used to implement humanitarian projects.
The organization received its first donations during Anton Tymoshenko's tour. All information on the receipt and expenditure of funds is posted on the Prytula Foundation U.S.A. website.
Currently, the US-based foundation is raising funds for projects such as tactical medicine training, humanitarian demining, reconstruction of school shelters, and healthcare in war-affected areas.
