Air Defence Forces support project
Про проєкт
On May 17, the Serhiy Prytula Charity Foundation launched a project to help Air Defence Forces.
Air Defence Forces are easy targets for the russians throughout the country and in particular near the front line, because their effectiveness reaches 90%, and in Kyiv it is already close to 100%.
As part of the project, we raised more than 382,000 USD for equipment to protect the air defence system of the Air Defence Forces from russian Lancet UAVs. The fundraising lasted only 12 hours.
Lancets damage targets at an angle, "from the side", in order to withstand such blows, the systems need additional protection. For this purpose, the Foundation purchased:
- Mobile telescopic mast SMT6-10
- Fishing nets 40x8.5m
In addition, as part of the fundraiser, we donated:
- Diesel generators;
- Charging stations;
- Monitors, tablets, laptops;
- Digital mobile radios, network and peripheral communication equipment and components;
- Transport.
The purchased masts and nets now protect the air defence systems of the 96th, 138th, 208th and 160th anti-aircraft missile brigades.
In addition to the 382,000 USD raised, the Foundation together with UAnimals raised more than 52,000 USD for «cats» from Air Defence Forces and cats in shelters.
According to the terms of the fundraising, 70% of the collected funds (more than 36,000 USD) is directed to the purchase of four trailer homes for the 138th and 96th Anti-Aircraft Missile Brigades. 138 Brigade received a Fleetwood heritage trailer, KNAUS trailer and Bailey trailer, 96 Brigade received A2860 Safari Trailer.
Another 30% (more than 15,000 USD) was spent by UAnimals on repairs of the animal shelter, which was damaged by russian shelling.
