Fundraising for demining vehicles

The area of potentially mined territory in Kharkiv region is over a million hectares. 447 settlements and more than 570 thousand hectares of fields are still dangerous for life and work. The SAS units are working every day to clear the land of mines and explosives, and we can make their work safer, faster and more efficient.

[Mark Kutsevalov] (https://www.instagram.com/markelllooo30/) set out on a 1000 km “Reality Hike” from the geographical center of Europe to the geographical center of Ukraine to raise funds for the purchase of equipment for the SES of Kharkiv region together with the Humanitarian Department of the Serhiy Prytula Charity Foundation.

Thanks to Mark's hike, UAH 11,064,159.90 was raised and purchased:

• 1 mechanical demining machine based on a KhTZ T-150 caterpillar tractor + funding for deminers to learn how to use it, which will start soon;
• 2 Peugeot Landtrek pickup trucks with additional equipment following the needs of mobile groups;
• 1 Mitsubishi L 200 pickup truck;
• 23 Gauss MD metal detectors in full configuration with Gauss MIL software;
• 9 individual deminer kits for humanitarian demining;
• 9 individual kits for marking explosive devices;
• 9 individual protective anti-explosive suits, including helmets, protective visors and knee pads;
• 9 FISKARS vegetation removal kits;
• 1 STIHL trimmer for vegetation removal;
• 9 sets of FISKARS sapper, long and short shovels;
• 4 Vykhor blasting machines;
• 2000 meters of SPP-2 blasting cable;
• 3 Motorola portable radios;
• 1 Garmin GPS navigator;
• 1 laser rangefinder;
• 1 medical backboard for evacuation of the wounded;
• 9 individual tactical first aid kits;
• 1 laptop;
• 1 tablet;
• 1 Canon multifunctional color printing device;
• 9 deminer multitools;
• 9 professional deminer probes.
