19-25 June, the large fundraising campaign to purchase five EOS C VTOL UAV complexes was held for the special assault units of the Defence Intelligence of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine. During this period we fundraised roughly UAH 120 000 (USD 3.3 bln).
The Foundation received the request for EOS C complexes directly from the Defence Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. The five complexes include 15 planes and 5 ground control stations. These UAVs will be given to the special GUR assault units.
EOS C VTOL is a vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) UAV. It combines the advantages of fixed-wing and multi-rotor types of aircraft, having high maneuverability, flight duration and operational flexibility.
The main characteristics of the EOS C VTOL UAV:
- Vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) without the use of a runway or launch mechanism.
- Increased flight range - up to 150 kilometers - which allows monitoring of large areas and operating in various environments.
- Advanced optics that allow you to take high-resolution photos and videos, facilitating reconnaissance operations.
- Real-time video streaming.
Such drones have already been tested by the Defense Forces in the conditions of the Russian-Ukrainian war. They have proven their effectiveness for reconnaissance and adjusting the artillery fire, they fly deep into the enemy's rear, have high-quality communication systems and are resistant to the effects of electronic warfare.
